Supposedly everyone loves a free gift. I’m immune to most. But I always get sucked in by the Clinique gift with purchase. But other than the tiny mascaras that are great for traveling everything else gets used once or twice and then just sits around.
Yesterday, the second day of the challenge, I was at work all day followed by a Christmas dinner party. There was no spare time to minimize my list and I was feeling a little disappointed with myself. I was thinking this as I was showering, and then I spotted it: a piece of cutter – something I don’t use or love. There on the shelf was a tiny free gift face scrub. I prefer to use my homemade one so it had been just sitting there. Now it was going to go. I squeezed out the remaining cream and then proudly tossed it over the shower screen and into the bin. Item count: 499!
