I’ve realised that without this big goal of only having one hundred things I would be keeping hold of so many things. Like an extra bottle of red nail polish in a red that I don’t even like. Why? Well, just because.
Many times, I have come across that bottle. But what is keeping one little bottle in the scheme of things? Nothing. But now it is something. It is the thing that will take me one step closer to my goal. And finally I have a good enough reason to part with it. If I was just tidying-up I wouldn’t bother deciding to get rid of it. Now I can because I’ve decided live with only want I need and I’ve given it a number. No more flaking out.
So, into the charity bin it goes. Hopefully one of my friends like’s orange-red nails.
