With the turn of the new year, 31 days have passed in my 100 day challenge. That’s 30% of my time up. However I’ve only got rid of 25% of the items I need to part with to achieve my goal. You see I started with 503 items, therefore to get to 100 means getting rid of 403 things. So far I’ve got rid of only 88 things where it should be 133 things, so I’m a bit behind schedule.
So this morning I did a mad search of my list to see what could go to get me over my first big milestone; the 400 mark. Luckily I also found some repeats in my list like hairdryer being listed twice so that it good, a cheat most definitely but it does reduce the list! 😉
Out;
- One silk dressing gown and an art journal gifted to my Mum
- Odometer clip board
- Random papers
- Jar of epson salts and bag of refill to become one item
- hair wax, cotton buds, Chinese chest, rug, wall chart, gypsy mat, wrapping paper all moved to jointly owned possessions
- white top, black top, cardigan, wrap and blue dress all donated to lifeline
- make up remover oil and mascara
- small timer
- random Christmas decorations and bags of tinsel moved to a new storage box and is now one item
Over Christmas most people knew to get me ‘jointly owned’ presents but I was given some eye cream from my mum, so I list also goes up by one item.
Items: 358!!!! Yay
